Tiara Making Workshop £55pp

This workshop will teach you wire-work skills applicable to tiara and jewellery making. By the end of the four hours you will have created a beautiful tiara in silver or gold plated wire, Swarovski Crystals or Pearls and silver and gold linned seed beads. Come along individually, with friends or bridesmaids for a really fun afternoon.

The Hat and Tiara making workshops both have a choice of two or four hours.

The four hour is a great class with a break in the middle for afternoon tea. If you are short on time or have a lot to fit into your day of celebrations the two hour work shop may work better for you. The workshops are the same price for the two or the four hour course (as on the two hour course we make the bases for you before hand). All materials are provided.

 LOCATIONS

The workshops are held in Janie’s Clapham studio.

The studio is a four minute walk from Clapham North Tube.

Janie can also hold the workshops at a venue of your choice. (A fee of £30 is charged for this service.) If you are thinking of using your own choice of venue, each person needs the same amount of space on a table as they would need for eating.

We set up a hat stand full of gorgeous creations for inspiration and need a couple of tables for materials.

One of our more recent excursions was to Kettners in Soho. The hen party had hired a private room for lunch and afterwards we arrived as a surprise to everyone except the bride’s sister who had booked us. We gave a two hour workshop and the results were fabulous. Check out “Sam’s hen party” under workshop pictures.

 

The atmosphere at Janie’s Clapham studio is pure fun. Feel free to bring you own Champagne, teas, cakes, nibbles or whatever will make the party personal to you. We have Champagne flutes and vintage crockery to ensure your afternoon tea is in true style. A docking station is available for your ipod. If you would like to change at the studio before heading out after the workshop, just let us know and we will allow extra time for this.

Hat Making Workshops

Join Fashion week designer Janie for a hat making workshop and create an entirely bespoke hat. Perfect for the Spring season with all those weddings and races.

Using sinamay, feathers, beading and veiling,

you will make a beautiful fascinator in your choice of colours-

and there are lots to choose from!!!

Places cost £55 per head for each four hour workshop

and all materials are provided, along with tea, biscuits, gossip and giggles.
